Peter Torben Jensen founded Jensen & Jensen more than 15 years ago. He is a graduate of Columbia College and the Columbia University School of Law in New York City. He has also studied Chinese law at Beijing University and business administration at the College of Insurance in New York. Mr. Jensen speaks Mandarin Chinese.
Mr. Jensen’s practice includes all types of immigration law. He represents a full range of clients in routine and complex immigration matters including individuals, small- and medium-sized companies, universities, and Fortune 500 companies. He has also served on the boards of directors of a number of both for-profit and not-for-profit corporations.
KEVIN DOWLING
Kevin Dowling is an expert in institutional lending, investment funds, off-shore trusts and securities law including private placements and public offerings. Among many other accomplishments, he has established four start-up onshore and offshore leveraged and unleveraged hedge funds in New York and Grand Cayman.
Kevin has a BA degree in economics from University College and The London School of Economics of the University of London, a JD degree from The University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Baruch College, The City University of New York. Kevin is a certified public accountant and is admitted to practice law in The European Union, England and Wales, California and New York.
Kevin started his career as an associate attorney at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Leiby and Macrae and thereafter Baker and McKenzie. STEVE MAGGI
Steve Maggi was born in Bariloche, Argentina, and raised in New York City. A graduate of Stuyvesant High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he majored in journalism and history, Mr. Maggi received his Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 2001.
In 2004, Mr. Maggi started his own immigration practice in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a specialized focus on business and family visas, and preparation of petitions processed at U.S. consulates overseas, including investor visas. At the consular level Mr. Maggi assisted many clients in removing inadmissibility due to criminal records as well as previous immigration infractions, enabling them to legally enter the U.S. again.
Since moving back to New York City in 2011, Mr. Maggi works with foreign nationals interested establishing, purchasing or expanding businesses into the U.S. in order to obtain visas and green cards, assisting U.S. companies who want to hire foreign personnel, and helping foreign nationals located in the U.S. with immigration status problems, changes of status, as well as adjustment and cancellation of deportation through the immigration court system.

SHLOMI ATASH
Mr. Atash is a graduate of the Law School of the Netanya Academic College in Israel. Prior to joining Jensen & Jensen, he practiced civil and criminal law in Israel. Mr. Atash is licensed to practice law in both Israel and New York. He speaks Hebrew and English.
